Louise and Simon’s Wedding
I had the great pleasure of photographing Louise and Simon’s Wedding at the beginning of this month. They were married at ST Michael’s Church Pontardulais and we took the Bride and Groom photos at Weobley Castle. The reception was at the lovely Oldwalls. It was absolutely freezing. How Louise coped in just her gorgeous dress I do not know.
There is a large collection of colour photos on my Facebook site
Louise and Simon’s E Shoot
Louise and Simon had their engagement photoshoot recently on a cold, but almost dry and occasionally sunny day. We walked down to Three Cliff Beach via the path from Penmaen car park and timed it to catch the golden light as the sun dipped. As it was a winter shoot we also captured a little of the sunset and the start of dusk to produce some lovely photos of the happy couple on Wales’ most beautiful beach.
Pop Up Studio
Everybody seems to love Photo Booths. What are they? Glamorous passport booths. But a Pop Up Studio that’s another thing.
All the pro lights’, different backdrops, immediate prints and an emailed copy of the image to display on Facebook on the night. You can book one for your event, be it a wedding, engagement party or work do. They’re great fun and you can choose to pay for your guests’ pleasure or you can book it for no charge for your event and the guests pay per print. You even book one for a family photo shoot in your home. Your choice! Call me on 07952747776 to discuss your ideas
Livelee Photography will be providing Pop Up Studios at the CYCA Ball at the Diplomat on Friday, at the Vintage Fair at the Ostreme Hall, Mumbles on 20th October and all throughout the Christmas and New Year Parties at the Llanelli Scarlets.
Even Monty and India are getting in on the act!
Emma and Chris Engagement Photoshoot in London
I went up to London earlier in January to shoot Emma and Chris’s Enagagement photos. They’re getting married on the Greek island of Rhodes in May, so it seemed complementary to shoot the enagegment photos in Britain’s largest city in the middle of winter. The grafitti tunnel at Waterloo and some iconic shots around the River Thames also brought a complementary balance. If you like the look of my work, take a look at the Enagagement Photoshoot page to see more.
Sony World Photography Awards
I thought I might share one of my entries for the Sony World Photography Awards. It was taken this year (as I write it’s still just 2011) at Sarah and Steve’s wedding and uses a technique that produces all those ghostly swirls which convey so much of the movement that can be missed with a standard dance shot. May the New Year bring you all you desire. Lovelee
The 11.11.11.11.11 photograph
Thanks to the marvels of digital photography I can pinpoint which image was taken at precisely 11.11am on the 11.11.11 at Nerys and Dylan’s Wedding and this is it. It shows Sara, their beautiful daughter leading Nerys and best friend Sara and the rest of the Bridal Party into the park for some post wedding photos.
Just in case you missed it an image from the day was taken by the Mail Online. http://bit.ly/vqX9BC
11.11.11. Wedding Photography for £11
Are you getting married on the 11.11.11?
Want stylish and contemporary wedding photography for £11?
I am looking for a cool and kooky couple who would love to have their special day on the special day photographed in loving photojournalistic/fashion style. And yes I am willing to do this for £11 - pretty much any location! Hey, it’s a one off idea, for a one off date.
How do you get to be the lucky couple? Just drop me an email with a explanation of how you are going to celebrate your special day before the 10.10.11 (not quite as quirky) and I’ll put all the entries into my very biggest hat and pull out the 11.11.11 wedding at 11am the very next day (that would be the 11th October then).
Take 11 seconds to think about this then drop me a line at livelee.aspland@gmail.com.
Laura and Mike’s Engagement shoot
Here are a few images from Laura and Mike’s engagement shoot at Pennard Castle, overlooking Three Cliff Bay, on the Gower Peninsula. It was a typical spring day with sunshine and a hint of rain, but we timed it well and even caught a ray of sun.
Laura and Mike’s wedding is in July and has a black and purple theme. Can’t wait.
Sarah and Steve
My first wedding this year was in March, on a glorious sunny day and was Sarah and Steve’s special day.
Their wedding was in Mumbles, the service held at Mumbles Christadelphian Church, the post wedding photos were taken on the fantastic Caswell Bay beach and the Reception and evening at Reynoldston Village Hall.
It was a fabulous day and many of the images can be seen in the galleries here and on my external personal blog.
Next up: two family portrait shoots over the Easter break
